javascript was created by Bredon Eich who was working at Netscape communications corporation in the mid 1990's. The intial purpose of the language was to add interactively to web pages in Netscape Navigator one of the earliest web browse the language was originally named "Mocha" , but it was quickly renamed to "livescript" & later to 'Javascript' for marketing reasons taking advantage of the popolarity of the java programming language at that time .

A new version of javascrpt of Es6 ECMAscript 6 it was created to standerlize javascript  and Es6 is the 6th version of ECMAscript, it was published in 2015, and is also known as ECMAscript 2015.

Javascript has expanded beyond the web & is now used in various environments including server-side desktop applications mobile app developement is a versatile programming language that empowers developers to create interactive & dynamic web apprications making it an essential tool in modern web developement.
